| EricSound FreeeQ VST plugin Hi GS, I had put this on another thread, as I thought it was relevant. A few people suggested it needs it`s own thread... Please go to www.EricSoundPlugins.com and check out my FREE plugin; the FreeeQ (worked hard on the algos, not the name!) I really want to know how this compares to other “high-end” plugins (from any developers) regardless of price. It’s a basic EQ but I think you might like it. I really want you guys to tell me what they’re worth to you as well. So when I release the next, more fully-featured plugin (nearly done!) I will put a fully functional no-time limit demo and the option to donate what it’s worth to you for the next 2 weeks. So if you like it, but can’t pay any $ for it then that’s fine. If you like it, use it, and feel it’s worth something for you then pay me whatever that is. The average price will then dictate my average selling price for future releases, but bear in mind that if the amounts are too low then it won’t be worth my time continuing –I do have to provide for a family. Many many thanks for listening, I hope that you enjoy so let me know. BTW, Hi everyone, I LOVE the forum; it’s about time I gave something back to it! | Hi Eric, I've downloaded and installed the plug on my G5 running Panther (10.3.9) with a PT Mix Cube rig. I've converted the VST version to make an RTAS copy of the Freeeq but when I load it in a session everything crash. Why? Let me know... Anyway, thanks for your work! F. |

| Sounds nice very similar to the URS API eq if not a little bit less grainy.A stereo version would be nice but I expect that will be in your next more featured eq whihc I look forward too.In regards to price etc maybe you should do what Ddmf did which is a Radiohead style vibe. |

| Sorry for late responses, please have a look at this and le me know what you think –email on the website working now and I’ll do best to respond promptly. Frank, afraid that using VST 2.4 for compatability with modern VST hosts stops the plugs working with RTAS AU wrapper, have been working on native but depends on response on the VST to some extent. Red, thanks for advice -I`m taking notice. Divine, done just for you, FreeeQ is stereo/mono now. Thanks guys, and the MANY other emailers and beta testers! |
