Powercore 8X Sonnex Edition

https://www.tcelectronic.com/powerco...noxedition.asp

I'm sure it's ungodly expensive, but for those that complain there's not enough DSP in a UAD-1.... the 8X is pretty powerful and people love the Sonnex stuff.

$1599 @ Sweetwater....comes with the EQ and Dynamics Sonnox plugins. So basicall for $100 more, you get 2 great plugins.

buy from novamusik and save. sweatwater might as well be guitar center for what it's worth by comparison.

Prices at Guitar Center are much better than Sweetwater. Just checked out pricing at NovaMusik. Not great. Better deals elsewhere.

How many instances can 8x run? I mean quadro core CPU can give you insane amount of sonnox plugs. So why bother with DSP solution that's going to be even more obsolete in a few years ;(. Too bad one can't say this about UAD, there you're stuck with vintage graphics card running your plugs and you can't escape to a native versions...

gotta get on the phone to get the price. everyone puts min. advertised price up on their web sites. nova's deals are solid, shipping's free and there's no tax unless you're in wisconsin. right there, you're looking at substantial savings on a ~$1200 piece of kit.
