| Lives for gear | Just wanted to let you know that there was a review in a german magazine. They said it isn't as hot as we think. However I wanna try it, and I am almost sure these guys did not knoe how to use that tool! ![]() ![]()

| I wish they would reduce the price of the advanced version. It seems too high IMO. -SD

| I've read the July edition. I've tried demo versions of Wave Arts MR noise and I heard too many artifacts, but I’ll give it another try. Waves X noise is okay if the noise level isn’t too high. Of all the restoration software I’ve used, the best so far when it comes to noise reduction is RX. RX Declicker: Tried the declicker. Got better results using Audition 3 Automatic click remover in one pass. RX Spectral Repair: Haven’t used all its functions, but one thing you can’t do in RX that you can do in Auditions spectral editor is highlight noise that runs the entire length of the file, like hum or high pitched whistle and remove it. If you try this in RX, you get an error message telling you it only processes highlighted parts no longer than 4 seconds. |
