The most important thing is to have a warm DAW. You need an older copy of Cubase on the Atari, or Logic Notator ( no higher than Version 2 ), or even better : Opcode Vision ( with a Mac Se ). These are older, so they will give you a warmer , more vintage sound ( very important ).

Also, only use SCSI hard disks, no USB or Firewire as these sound more digital. Make sure you use big thick SCSI connectors, as these will help the sound penetrate the hard disk more deeply.

I suggest an alternative to the norm.

Write a symphony. Make it beautiful, and expansive, and even haunting at times, like a John Williams score. Don't be afraid to go from Stravinsky to Debussy within just a few bars.

Borrow a few themes from well-known films if you'd like. "The Entrance?" The Jaws theme should do just fine. "The Moneyshot?" Ripping a bit off of "Dream Is Collapsing" from Inception will work wonderfully.
