Thread Starter | Adding RAM to my G5
How hard is it to do myself? I'm scared to death for some reason of taking the dam cover off and touching anything. I know that prob sounds kind of ridiculous. After messing with new macbook (2 gigs of RAM) I realize how much stronger my G5 could be (currently 512 mb or RAM )

Piece of cake. I order my ram at a great price from RAM Jet and it came with explicit instructions. It couldn't have been easier. If you need instructions go to the Apple support website and do a search for "installing RAM G5" you will most likely hit on the G5 User Guide and there you will also find explicit instructions. Good luck. nothing to it. Just make sure that you don't allow yourself to discharge static into your computer. |
