| Hi folks! Happy Hangovers to you all... Where's a good place to start? Budget £500 UK (And what r you running successfully?) I've roped an experienced friend into helping me build a PC from scratch: This won't be a stand-alone DAW, however I still would like to build a fast, reliable n quiet machine with FW USB and Ethernet connections for internet, media, vid editing etc Audio Logic Audio 4.8 I already have a MOTU 828, so the main consideration is to get them to gel without any hiccups . I can't afford another pro soundcard!I'd really appreciate any help Thanks Blast |

| Here is a truckload of info. It is a thread on the DUC (userforum from Digidesign), but i think you can get a wealth of information there. Just understand that Digidesign has some additional demands (like mobo and chipsets), and you'll be fine.
