Samp and Sequoia

i got rid of my pt interfaces and need to transfer a Pt session so i can mix it in nuendo
i was told from a friend of mine Sequoia opens all types of daw session including Pt files.(pts)
i have access to samp at almost anytime, does samp have this same feature?
i figure i can take the session and send it omf or just the raw wav files and import them into nuendo.

As of version 8 it is not true. For you it will be easier to convert them through OMF or AAF, since Nuendo opens both of them.

i no longer have any Digidesign interface so i can't do anything at the moment.
i was hoping samp or sequoia could open the PTS file and i'd export an omf
so if i can find someone with a a version of sequoia thats before version 8 it'll work right??

thats not a funtion of samp and i've had them all from verison 5.1 all the way up to present 9.1

i would say borrow an mbox and just bounce the pt trks to wav files using audiosuite gain plugin. shouldnt take but a minute or two. look in folder and just uses the files that have GAIN at the end

Samp nor Sequoia can open a Pro Tools Session. If fact, I don't think ANY other DAW out there can open a PT session. Cui Bono Soft EDL Convert can open a Pro Tools 5 Session, and export it out into various other formats including OMF, AAF, Samplitude EDL etc.

Whilst it wont open PT sessions, Seqouia does open timestamped SDII files natively.

Find someone with a 002 rack, or even an M Audio USB Transit (supports 96k) Consolidate all of your tracks to the start of session, export regions as files, (native bit depth and sample rate) then you can take em anywhere.
