Will we see Notational editing in PT anytime soon

Hi guys!

With PT now exporting midi files directly to Sibeleus, do you think we'll ever see notional editing INSIDE pro tools ala the DP Quickscribe window? I love working in PT, and notional editing would push me over the edge to ditch DP forever. I still write in DP, and switch over to PT as soon as I can for recording and production, but DP still edges out PT for writing. Also, the composers I work with all use DP for writing and are unwilling to use PT at this point.

However, the sound (constricted and 2 dimensional), editing (clunky and archaic), stability (DP give new definition to the word "crash" with PT HD hardware - and without an autosave function, is almost unuseable at times), and automation (trying hard, but not getting there) in DP just don't get it for me. PT rules those areas - BUT without notational editing inside PT, I can't seriously consider it as a writing platform for orchestral and more complex harmonic works. (Loops and simple stuff is OK in PT)

I've been trying hard to stay inside PT and can do some easier MIDI editing with their system, but I need real notational editing. Anyone else? Anyone have an inside scoop on whether PT will ever adapt this into the system or not?

I highly doubt there will be a notation editor added right into pro tools. But I would imagine we may eventually see much more integration with sibelius. Possibly connecting the two together so you can notate in sibelius and have this reference your instrument tracks and record as audio maybe? I don't know what they will cook up but I doubt they will make a notation editor directly in pro tools.
