logic 4.7 with mbox

I am using logic 4.7 on mac OS 9.2.2 and I am trying to use the digidesign mbox with it. Im using the "Digidesign Direct I/O" ASIO driver. I am constantly getting a message that is saying "error while trying to synchronize audio to midi".
I have tried to solve this problem by doing a few things but none of them have worked yet.
I have:
<sum> I have selected a "Larger Process Buffer" and "Larger Disk Buffer"
<sum> I have unselected "auto enable external sync"
<sum> I have tried changing the "Playback Delay"

If anyone is out there that knows how to solve this problem please help me out. I need to start making music again ASAP.

Dave,
Regarding the sync error messages, try switching off all the syncronisation options on the the sync page. Set them to none and uncross them.
However the real solution to the problem is changing the driver....... Logic 4.7 is not really designed to work with usb audio devices.
The solution I used when i ran a similar combination is to get the custom driver from www.usbaudio.com you have to buy it, but its performance and latency was much better than the Digi driver which was never meant for the mbox.
