Info about Nuendo and Mac

Hello i am looking at getting nuendo and Mac combo to do some post pro work, but i seem to find a lot of threads with Nuendo and the PC, i know that Nuendo and the PC combo have a solid reputation . Are thier any problems with the new Mac intels and Nuendo ?, which platform, Mac or PC offers greater flexibility and stability with nuendo ?. I was thinking of the Mac also , because i wanted more ram for Ivory. thank you for your time.

Nuendo is not more stable on PC. You see Nuendo a lot on PC because a lot of people feel no compitetion with other PC apps for similar job and rep. There are plenty of Mac Nuendo users. Nuendo will not be UB for Intel Macs until early 2007 with Nuendo 4.

My understanding that Steinberg will not be coming out with a Nuendo 4 version.

A technican at steinberg believes that Cubase 4 will come out with a extension/ upgrade that allows Cubase 4 to operate as Nuendo did for Post production...

I would def take a techs word for it since they cant even read a crash log

Complete hearsay at best. Why dont you post that on Nuendo.com and see what you hear? It would completely eliminate any position in the post market if they didi that. drop the name brand that is linked to post is crazy.
