| computer Monitor Pulsing? ok i had a old 17" monitor. the color on it was awful and very dark. i could see pulsing on the screen . kinda like on TV when they show monitors. so i said screw this thing. ill get a new one. i went out and got a 17" crt compaq. i dont need a flat screen. i plug it in , turn it on and SAME thing with the pulsing. i dont even have fluorescent lighting in this room. so whats the deal? ? ? |

| Perhaps you're sensitive to low refresh rates? Try the highest rate that both your vid card and monitor support. Aside from that, I'd try your monitors on a different system. If the problem goes away, then it's likely a problem with your vid card. Either some settings are mis-tweaked or it's just time for a new card. |
