yes you can record in real time using vst's or hardware synths or anything in Cubase 4

the keystation pro is cool - it does its job - i use it as midi controller for the virus ti desktop and with the faders on the keystation 88 pro to control the faders and knobs in cubase instead of mousing - especially for mixdowns

whoever is the mod in here and added the other option - please add samplitude for the other dude

thanks

I use Cubase SX 3 and Logic Pro 7.2, and want to use them at once in an integrated system...

HD2 Accel in the A-Room....

PTLE in the B-Room......

I also have DP and Logic express, but only use them when clients demand it....which never happens so I dont use them..

I've been using Cubase since Version 5vst, and Nuendo since 1.6. I can't see changing for now, but PT would be the only route.

Used the earlier Roland VS recorders, then switched to Cakewalk Pro Audio 8, then Cubase vst 3.?.... Switched to PT HD1 in February for compatibility and stability..... Very happy with the switch.

is protools hd - a 16 bit application that needs a 32 bit OS to run it (is not compatible with 64 bit os)?

has pro tools announced anything about a 32 or 64 bit version of their software being released anytime in the future?

with Windows Vista etc coming out how does this fare for the future of PT users?

HD3 / Nuendo 3

Been a nuendo junkie since 1.02, acquired HD for those who want too spend the extra $$$$$. Nuendo editing is a blissfull experience and never a single damn crash ever!!!!

Sony software. Vegas and Acid mainly. Have used them for 6 years or so. Have also used DP, PT, Cakwalk and Cubase.

see my sig.
try them sometime and compare against higher priced fare.
you can do a great record in either imho providing you have an excellent sound device with good convertors.
if you doubt me...cockos.com and pgmusic.com for more user references/user forums and demos.
peace.
