Hi Nick,

I tested both of your plugs and find them very interesting. Thank you -))
Can you tell a little more what you tried to model or something else about both plugs? Has a hardware simulation been your aim?

Yeah, I hope so.
The Tube Maximizer is one the most interesting plugs I have ever heard.

Nick, it seems you are belonging to the Russian Black Metal scene and maybe you are not so good in English, I don“t know. But it would be very nice to inform us about your plans, aims and the background of your plugs.

AFAIK you are doing a very fine job.
At the moment I am finding the Maximizer more interesting and sounding better than the Tube Driver, maybe this will change with the new versions. So what are the differencies.

My English is not very good, that's why I add posts here very seldom (usually with the help of my daugther, who is frequently busy), but I read all your messages every day, translate them and take them into account during my work. All your notices are very important for me.

I tried it, it makes everything louder and has very minimal coloration. Pretty good.

It does much more than that. Listen carefully.

I did and it's pretty subtle. It sounds good, don't get me wrong. But I was refering to the Tube Maximizer, not the Tubedriver. Hadn't tried it yet.

I was also refering to the Tube Maximizer. What I meant was that the plug is smoothing everything, it is gentle as silk, much better than anything I heard before.

I agree 100%. It's very smooth. My point about being subtle is that it's not a distortion device like so many "tube sim" plugs, just adding distortion in the name of tube warmth.

Simply said yes.

In my case I am using the maximizer within a mastering chain so it is surrounded by other mastering plugs. This chain I also used earlier without the maximizer, but it is sounding so much better now -))

I just tried a mix with it on the master. I liked what it did on the voice and drums. But I was loosing too much definition. I end up putting it on the voice and the cymbals.thumbsup
It might be on something else next time

Yes, you call it definition, I would call it responsiveness to percussive signals, especially bass. The three versions of maximizer vary here, v0.3 and especially v0.4 are more responsive than v0.5 which is the smoothest.
