Thread Starter | PT question re:alternate takes I just ventured down the loop recording path. When I right click on the looped region after recording it doesn't show me any other takes ( 5 passes or so). Is there a preference setting I a missing? when I right click with the selector I just get the scrubber. How do I show my looped recording takes? |

| I think you have to hold alt and make sure the whole track is highlighted. You can always pull them over from the audio bin and put them on a new playlist. be carefull though if you're planning on moving the files to another computer. sometimes when I've done loop recordings at other studios and brought them back to my place, it imports them as one long track. Playlists are easier imo. |

| Hi! Yes- I cannot recall the pref offhand, but it is a group of 3-4 options within one pref. Be sure all 3 (or 4, forget how many) are UNCHECKED or you might be missing optional "takes" when using that feature. 2 of the 3 options are checked by default, if I remember correctly. Might be on the Editing tab....but I do know the pref (and options for the pref) is on the left side of the dialogue, close to the top. I knwo this because I had the same thing happen, and it took me a bit to figure out what was up...

Thread Starter | Hi thanks for your reply do you mean "matching start times take list"? I tried both checking and unchecking these prefs and no luck I have been using spot mode and dragging from the regions list but it would be preferable to have them lined up already. anyone? |
