| MAC Anti Virus? Help! Is there an Anti-Virus pgm anyone can recomend for Mac? I've looked at Virex, which is offered as part of a pkg deal on mac's ".mac" page for $100/yr. It's made by McGaffey, and it is PRICEY. I come from the PC world where I've used Norton AV (Symantec) for years. It costs a 3rd of that. My PC just died and I'm considering using my mac for everything now instead of just for Digital Performer and I'm worried about contracting a virus. I've been told that there are a small fraction of mac viruses out there compared to PC by my longtime mac friends. But, better safe than sorry.....right? Thanks. Damon |

| I guess better safe than sorry would apply but FWIW I've been a mac user for 15 years and have never had a virus. drew oh, I did it now!!!!..... |

| I only got a virus in OS9, which was killed by this free antivirus. On OSX, the only free stuff I saw is this . Cheers, Andrés |

| I've used Virex for years and it has worked well and unobtrusively for me. Are you sure about that pricing? I'm sure you can buy it over the counter for around £60.
