Why cant waves just sell individual plugins

I just need a few.
I dont wanna pay expensive WUP for plugins I wont use.
Or even better make your own custom bundles.

Waves have in the past made individual plugs available - But....they make them prohibitively expensive. Before I bought my Platinum Bundle they had the L3 a seperate plug I believe.

I paid a very reasonable amount for my Bundle and felt that all those plugs were more than worth it. I know that WUP is contentious, but Waves are consistently swift in bringing out new versions of their plugs in response to Apple's OS updates and Chip changes.

(No I do not work for Waves).

They do sell individual plug-ins, but it's way too expensive. If you're going to go Waves, then you really gotta go with bundles. But with WUP being such an unfortunate terror, I'd stay away if you aren't already relying on their plugs.
