Using Melodyne Uno with ReWire in Logic?!?

Hi, I want to use Melodyne Uno 1.5.3 as an external sample editor in Logic 7.1.

I've chosen a key command to open an external sample editor. And I've chosen Melodyne Uno as that editor. It opens fine and the region appears in Melodyne. But unfortunately it makes no sound.

I've created a ReWire audio object and selected several different channels with no luck. I've searched all over and read tons of articles on how to do this, but I must be missing something simple.

Try downloading the latest version of ReWire 1.7 here. It did the trick for my problems with Logic Pro & DrumCore 2.0.

Course Technology PTR Logic CSi Master has a good tutorial on using ReWire in Logic as well.

Good luck!
Martijn.

Thanks for the link. I'll give it a shot.

I really think I'm just doing something wrong though. Others seem to have no problem with it.

Ok, I upgraded to rewire 1.7 and seems to have made the situation worse.

Before I was able to select a region in Logic. Press the key command for "Open External Sample Editor" and Melodyne Uno would open with the region properly loaded. When I hit the space bar the Logic project would play back, but I could no longer hear the region I was attempting to edit.

Now that I've upgraded to ReWire 1.7 I can't even get the playback to work. Melodyne opens fine and loads the region, but when I hit the space bar nothing happens.

You're gonna need Logic 7.2.1 to work with ReWire 1.7.

Well that's just great. Anyone know how to revert back to an older version of ReWire?
