Logic Program Changes

Hello All,
Sorry if this is a really basic question but I am pretty new to Logic and I can't seem to find this in the reference guide anywhere.

How do you insert program changes on Audio Instrument tracks (for a software instrument)???

I have a keyboard controller and can insert patch changes with that, but that is a huge pain. Theres got to be a way to insert them in the software, hasn't there? I've tried the arrange window, the event list, matrix edit, and hyper edit and can't seem to figure it out. Ideally there would be a way to insert a program change in the Arrange window - this would work best for me - but if there is I haven't found it.

I am running Logic Express 7.1

you just have to go in your event list and add a control change.

Thanks Mr B. but how do you physically make this a program change? I have tried going into the event list and using the pencil to add an event - but the only thing I can seem to add is a MIDI note event - I cannot seem to switch it from a note event to a control event.
Is there no way to do this from the arrange window?
