Ableton Live 6 anyone?

Anyone using the new version, any major improvements on v 5.2? Any problems?
Downloaded a demo and I'm impressed but am reluctant to change due to all the teething problems of Live 5.

I really like it. Racks and File Management are big improvements. I thought about buying Sampler but it's on a hold right now. I also really like the new view in Mixer where you can have much more resolution with the meters.

Enabling for dual core machines helps speed.
I like the instrument racks. I have yet to get into it deeply.

I'm liking what I read! are you guys all finding to to be stable? Live 4 was rock solid but I changed to live 5 @ v 5.0.1 and it was buggy as hell until live 5.2 came out a LONG time after the original release. I'm just wondering should I upgrade now or will I feel like I'm using a beta again?

I haven't pushed it too far but so far so good, it is very stable for me. I think they've done a lot of job with the beta testing. Last beta before final build was beta21 if i remember well.

i don't use it for multi-tracking much, just as a host for performing. for that, it has been great. also i did some of the presets for the fx racks, so i was able to get pretty deep there, it's a pretty cool architecture they got going with the macros and all.

How do you find the quality of Live's audio effects in general?

Is the new EQ8 simply an EQ4 with more bands and stereo processing, or has the sound of the filters actually changed?

Has the reverb been updated?

Same here- I'm going to work my powerbook to the bone before I upgrade. I am flirting with putting together a specialized drum programming rig around a mac mini though.
I keep going back and forth.

Lot's of cool new features from what I can see !

Wow, some of the presets in the new FX rock! Been loving loads of them and this is the main reason I'm looking to upgrade. So many cool presets that sound like brand new vst plugs Totally loving "fade 2 grey" for filtered delay fun
