Thread Starter | APOGEE AD-16 X + BENCHMARK DAC-1
How goes this combination: APOGEE AD 16X for ad and BENCHMARK DAC-1 for da with a simphony card (for the apogee) in a MAC PRO? How can I connect the benchmark? spdif way? What about the latency? ta!!! |

It's a good combo, no doubts. You can connect the 2 via ADAT. The apogee has 2 ADAT outs and ins, the DAC1 will need just 1 in and 1 out. I was very close to getting this combo myself but I decided it against as I wanted to use some outboard gear to help mixing. If you are completely mixing ITB then it's a really good set up. |
