Core 2 Duo - Motherboard recommendations

I'm getting a Core 2 Duo E6700 chip in a few weeks, and I need to get a new Motherboard to go with it. Any recommendations? I'm not looking to spend big bucks for high end features and overclocking options and all that, just a solid board by a well known manufacturer. I've got an Asus P4P800 Deluxe right now for my 3.2 ghz Prescott chip, and it's pretty solid, so an Asus board is looking good. Any ideas?

Also, since this chip is dual core, I'm pretty sure Pro Tools won't be able to utilize the "dual-ness", since I don't have version 7. Since the new chip runs at 2.66 ghz, will this even be a performance boost from my 3.2ghz prescott? Anyone have any first hand experience with the new Core 2 Duo?
