Changing the "look" of Protools?

So now that I've been mixing in protools for about 8 months I've noticed something. The entire screen layout and coloring scheme give me a real headache! I mixed in Cubase SX2 and 3 for a few years and never had a problem watching the screen for 8 to 10 hours at a time. I think it was the darker grays and blacks and blues that make up its layout compared to all the bright white light and gray that makes up PT.

Anybody know of a way to mod or change the coloring scheme? I know theres a trick to do to mac OSX to invert all the colors and I've even used this for a while but it gets oddly annoying after a while as well.

Wow! Really?

I track in PT mix plus system...I still love looking at PT new and old versions.
I mix on a PC with SX3 and I love it's sounds but I change the look to be more PT's looking. To me SX default starts to hurt my eyes after a while.

There is no way that I know of to change the colors in PT's. With out coding stuff.

Listen!? no way really? I thought it was just there for looks!

But in all seriousness I do love the sound of Cubase SX much better.

When i'm busy recording or "hearing" the mix i'm not normally looking at the monitor. However when i'm doing a lot of editing of people's stuff they send me or having to sit there and sequence out drum patterns to entire songs....well i'm forced to sit and stare at the monitor.

I'm not completely retarded u know....

Complete opposite for me. Cubase looks too much like a toy, I quite like the simple, clean look of Pro Tools.

Let's hope Digidesign don't think that making PT look space-age and modern will stop people complaining about it's lack of features.
