Thread Starter | Samp Elastic Audio vs Melodyne?..... (Magix Studio question)
Hi I was wondering if anyone has compared the quality of the pitch correction in these 2 apps? The reason being that I have noticed that Magix Music Studio Deluxe has the Elastic Audio feature in it and this could be a cheap way of getting this feature on 48 channels if I then rewired it to Cubase. Are they on a par/close in quality? Also does anyone know if the Magix studio is a rewire slave or only a rewire host? Thanks for any info. |

Well, I went down to good ol PC World and got Magix Music Studio 11. ![]() The Elastic Audio is good. I've done a bit of pitch correction and it sounds good, it can't move beyond a couple of semitones without starting to lose it big time though, unlike Melodyne. No rewire slave, just host (I tried starting up SX3 then Magix and there was no rewire device in Devices. In conclusion, very cheap and intuitive pitch correction but a bit cumbersome to go between apps. |
