DBX Noise reduction as a plugin?

I have some old tapes recorded on a Tascam 88 and used the Tascam DBX noise reduction. I would like to transfer these recordings into Cubase. Is there a plugin that would decode the DBX encoding so that I could transfer directly from the original tapes (without going into the hardware DBX decoders)?

As far as I know such a plugin does not exist, there's countless noise reduction plugins but not plugins to decode analog noise reduction... I think you'd be better off by finding a deck with DBX to decode and transfer...
