Thread Starter | Monitor to lay almost flat
Does anyone know of a monitor or type of monitor to mount in a console ? I know there are the touch screen types that lay flat but I want a regular monitor.

The Samsung 920T can do it, and is one of the best monitors too. If you can't get that I believe Samsung still makes another extremely flexible monitor (the most flexible on the market actually).

Thanks Holger. I guess the spec that matters is the 170 degree vertical viewing angle.

I swear by my dell 2407fpw's. 24 inches and VESA-ready. Brighter than the Apple Cinema Displays. I paid $650 for each (I have three). The trick with dell is you need to call their sales line and talk to a rep - they can give you MUCH better pricing than online.

you got it for $650 just by calling them up, no special offers? is it because you bought 3 at once?

I want a 17" monitor. I'm hoping it will fit in something close to a 19" rack. It can be a little bigger but not much. I don't need to look at a lot windows at once so a small monitor is fine. I'm using a 15" now and would rather have that, but I don't think I'll find one.
