 Any suggestions for a 2 port DVI + USB KVM for Apple?

I own a G5 dual 2.7 and a brand new Mac Pro
I bought a ATEN CS-1762 2 port DVI KVM... and either the unit is defective, or there exists an incompatibility between the Mac Pro and the ATEN CS-1762. When I switch back and forth to the Mac Pro it takes a while for my DVI monitor to lock onto the Mac Pro video signal.... and three times now the Mac Pro has kernel paniked..... (just in finder - no applications running)
I’ve already done Apple hardware test plus repair permissions plus operating system archive and install... everything seems good with the Mac Pro. The Apple tier two support guy says that the kernel panic log points to something related to the video card (or the KVM). I have a replacement ATEN KVM on it’s way to me, and i’m going to run the Mac Pro for the next few days without the KVM to see if it still kernel panics.
If the replacement ATEN KVM makes my Mac Pro kernel panic then I will know it is an incompatibility.... in that case - does anyone have any suggestions as to an alternate 2 port DVI + USB KVM? Possibly Gefen or Belkin?
