macbookpro&rosetta800

hi does anyone have any experience using a 15'macbookpro with a rosetta 800 using the firewire card? if so could you tell me how many tracks you tend to get at various
sample rates ....i am also intrested in what hard disk you might use and if you daisy chain it (cant bus power it right?) or if you forked out for a pci firewire 800 expansion and ran it off that??
