logic- mono aux sends?

I just got a tc electronic 350 outboard reverb unit and would like to set it up in dual input mode for use with logic.

that way I can use the delay and reverb processors independantly.

however, I'm not sure how to make mono aux sends in logic. the output would have to be mono on the return and I only have stereo options (for ex, "output 9-10" instead "output 9").

is there a workaround for this or am I just missing something incredibly obvious?

Hey!

I´m using a TC M3000 in a similar setting and I ran into this problem, too. Only mono audio tracks can have mono aux sends, be it bus objects or hardware outputs.

Here´s my workaround:
I use two stereo bus objects (e.g. bus 29-30 and bus 31-32) and these two bus objects have Logic´s direction mixer plug-in inserted, set to MONO. The output of these bus objects is my S/P-dif output (outputs 25-26 in my case) which is going to the M3000 S/P-dif input. The panpot on bus 29-30 is hard left, the panpot for bus 31-32 is hard right.

Now I can send audio from both mono and stereo audio tracks to these busses. You can bring back the output of your M350 on a stereo aux object in Logic or on an external hardware mixer. Works like a charm!

In the lower left of the Output object i.e. Output 9-10 you will see a double circle. That mean it is a stereo output. Click on it and it will become a single circle. That makes it is mono output.

If you then get a picture of i.e. Output 10 that says it is controlled by 9 then you need to go into your Audio Hardware and Drivers panel and make sure that you have Universal Track Mode enabled.
