Can I Sell my WAVES plugs?

Good day ya'll!

I searched the Waves site and couldn't find any info as to how to go about selling my recently purchased & registered Waves plugs & associated WUP until 9/2007(license transfer, etc..).

Anyone know the proper procedure?

You have to call there sales department and transfer the license. It cost $150.


I hate Waves and will never purchase another one of there products. Good luck.

I believe you also must bring your bundle up to the current WUP, which may be a little, and may be a lot depending on how long its been.

Boy oh boy...they seem to carry on as if there was no competition in the plug-in solutions world.

Obviously I'd never allow myself to purchase from them again with such unsavory practices.

It wont be long until we see the "R.I.P. Waves" thread.

I don't know - CAN you? Good luck finding a buyer.

In the ally behind my house there are people picking through the garbage every night. If there's a digital equivalent of that then you might be able to get rid of your Waves plugins.

If you're authorized to an iLok, just sell that and give them your Waves login info.

to resurrect an old thread....

So if I were to purchase an ilok with a waves bundle authorised to it and get the login details, I could then change those details once the ilok is in my possession. Is this right?
