Thread Starter | Audio Interface Help
Hey guys, I'm currently trying to decide on what audio interface to purchase. The primary uses would be to record electric guitar with a microphone, recording vocals, and also plugging the guitar directly into it to play around with software like Guitar Rig. I've narrowed it down to a M-Audio Firewire Solo, Guitar Rig 2 or Novation XioSynth. The advantage with the XioSynth would be that I wouldn't need to spend money upgrading my (shitty) keyboard, whereas with the Guitar Rig 2 I guess I get the software and effects and stuff to use. The Firewire Solo would just be the cheapest option? Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do? Also, what is the name of the type of input I need so I can plug the guitar directly in? Thanks guys! |

don't know about the interface; Guitar Rig 2 includes a DI box i think but that doesn't necessarily include converters; i might be wrong about that.... ....bump
