reaper hits a milestone.

this very interesting software has reached an important milestone...version one. (reaperaudio.com)
just in the last few months its advanced rapidly.
the audio side is very mature already, and now the midi side is advanceing rapidly.
for anyone looking for a inexpensive dongle free life,
this might just be the ticket.
its running flawless for me.
the rapid pace of development is amazing.
even if the reader of this thread has another main squeeze the developers are always very open to new feature ideas....which is like a breath of fresh air in itself....
thus ...if you have some idea/feature that your software currently doesnt do.....
i would post it on the reaper forums. youll likely see it rapidly implemented.
and this is what impresses me. the responsiveness of the development team.

Man i had a look at reaper and it's great. The editing remind me of Samplitude which i love, the rooting, folders, etc...I would buy it in an instance if it had that mouse play/stop fuction...once i tried that, i don't think i can go back. I think I'll follow your advise and ask it. thanks for the tip.
