Thread Starter | Midi import from Finale into ProTools LE
When I import a midi file that was created by Finale (actually PrintMusic), the midi notes show up in the mix window, but no sound comes out. I assigned a patch to each midi track but still get no sound. I have searched the Mbox's instructions and this forum, but I can't find an answer. Could it be that I need to some how set up PT's patches? Do I need a midi interface even though I already have a midi file? Also, where can I find out what each of those patch numbers represent? Thanks. Mbox w/ PTLE 6.1 800 mhz Snow iBook w/ 10.2.8 |

I figured it out. All I needed to do were insert some patches into Reason.
