Logic using HD ext (mac)

Just wondering if any of you out there are using this set up (PT HD and Logic Platinum 5.5 together) as we've just installed it. Any good ways of having stuff setup, like extensions etc. All I know is we get a signal into Logic through the 192 and on play back a loud hiss.

Any suggestions very welcome.

Sounds like u may have a clock problem. Can U post fuller details of the setup? Sync I/O? Number of 192's Also I/O configuration.. are u using just the Analogue I/O's or some AES /Adat or TDifs?
Also is it a HD1 2 or 3.

Cheers for that, but when I posted the other engineer came into the lounge area and said the only reason we had been recording hiss was because logic was set to wav file not aiff. Bit strange, but there ya go.

The system aint running well yet, lots of tweaking to be done. It's crashing alot.

The system is G4 800, PT HD2, 192 interface (control 24), if I know macs they don't take well to a newbie on the block but after a bit of TLC they settle in.

Funny thing is Pro Tools crashes if the Logic key is in, mmmm, thats ilok for ya, looking at everything as a possible (k)

So anyways to streamline the operation of the system will be received with open arms.
