Ableton Session / Arrangement Production

Hey guys, just a quick question as I'm getting into ableton. If not performing live and making electronic music would you guys just be working with the arrangement view, never needing to really reference back to session view?

Cheers.

My Recordings/Credits

you have to go back to the session view while producing or else you can't see the mixer

it's stupid but that's what we get for using a liver performance DAW to produce

I don't love the names of the screens in Live, because Session view IS for arranging. I spend 90% of my time in Session view working on the layout / arrangement of a song. Arrangement view is for cleaning the song up before the mix.

If you already know how the song will be played from the beginning to the end then Session view isn't needed. Session view is for improvising your arrangements in realtime while recording them in Arrangement view.
