Thread Starter | audio device+extrernal hd connected to 1 firewire port
I have a macbook and i ran out of discspace within 4 days of working on a project. SO it would be wise to get me a external firewire hardisc (Lacie Posh). These fw hd's have 7200 rpm 600mb buffer hd, and have way better performance then avarage laptop discs. It would be possible to connect both my RME FF400 and my Lacie hd, to 1 fw port on my Macbook. Is this a wise thing to do?? Has anyone worked like this???? greetz |

Hi gizeh12, It may work, maybe not. A better plan would be to add an expresscard firewire adapter, then they each get their own fw controller, so less chance for problems. Best regards, |

You could get an external hard disk that connects with a network cable |
