How to change buffer size for Cubase 7 + RME FF400 on OSX

Question:
How do you change the audio buffer size for Cubase 7 when you have an RME FF400 running on OSX (mountain lion)?
You can't change it in Cubase and the RME control panel doesn't have the possiblity (anymore) to change the buffer setting ...

I´m using the FF800. german version of Cubase 7, so maybe i don´t get all the correct words for you.
go to the "Device" Menu (to the right of the "Transport" Menu)
The last entry down the menu should be somthing like " device configuration..."
in the appearing window under "VST Audiosystem" select your FF.
Then you should see a button labelled "Preferences" "(Einstellungen" in the attached pic)
clicking this button you can change the buffer size then.

Well, I´m not a real Cubase User.
I´m using Logic and Reaper for my daily work and have Cubase 7, Studio One 2.5, Pro tools 10 and Ableton Live 8 for teaching purposes only, so I can give Students an overview of the most popular DAW´s on Mac.

I´m using the FF for years now and never had one single issue. Always rock solid with all the mentioned software. Their drivers are always up to date.
Maybe you should ask over in the Cubase 7 thread.
