| Gear nut | Most flexible continuous MIDI controllers
I am very new to the MIDI world, but I want to start with something very flexible, that can easily stretch beyond a standard 12-tone model. Is there anything better than this following controller, or anything almost as good at a slightly cheaper price? I've seen the Lemur as well, but it doesn't look like you could play 8 octaves on it or anything. I cant see myself paying $5000 for a midi controller, even if it is as sweet as this... http://www.hakenaudio.com/Continuum/ And though the Haken Continuum controller looks amazing, i can't come to face the price. Even the Lemur is only around $2000, dirt cheap in comparison. I just looked at the Kyma site too, and the Wacom tablet ideas look cool. Noble slutz, what are your most flexible, MIDI controllers, at reasonable prices? |
