Simple (unmastered)BTD x Export selected as...

Hi
Several times I need to burn a CD with a simple mix, not a final mastered version. So, just a dither process would be necessary. There was a time I had a dedicated hardware CD recorder for that...not anymore..

I have been using the EXPORT SELECTED AS, with the 16bit word lenght selected, stereo interleaved.

Does this quick process use the dither set as default on preferences or does it just cut the last 8 bits from the audio samples?

Sometimes it it too time consuming to record into PT session, wait again for the bounce...

Thanks

IT automatically dithers export as flies that are less then the wordlength.

which is good for you , but others were comlaining that you couldn't turn it off,

however i'd like to hear someone back me up on this , who know for sure
as it was learned from a thread here, which with all due respect is subject to
a big grain of salt

thanks!
In fact no reason for waiting for a bounce when we are not using any external outboard gear, just a simple dither.
