Waves Intel-Mac support - how's it working?

According to Waves's website, their Intel compatible plugs support Logic 7.2, PT LE & M-Powered. I'm specifically interested in instance counts off SSL plugs on Macbook Pro's.

according to that chart, the E channel gets much more from an intel than a Quad!?! Once the new towers come out and all of the software becomes UB, we are going to have an insane amount of power at our fingertips.

you gotta launch your browser in rosetta mode to use iLok.com to authorize.

to do so:

close your browser,
find the browser .app in Finder
right click - get info
check "open using rosetta"

launch browser...

go to ilok.com and authorize..

that's really weird how the MB Pro gets so many more instances of SSL E-Channels and Renaissance channels than the Dual 2.5, while the rest of the numbers are pretty comparable and in some cases less than the G5.

I may be getting a MB Pro soon <img src="http://www.gearslutz.com/board/images/smilies/thumb.gif">

I was having the same problem. Hours of trying to understand what went wrong and how to correct that. But now, everything seems to pass validation - thanks so much for the info! Weird process though. Not obvious...

Yeah, tried it and it still wont authorize... weird, Oh well...

Anyway,
Can anybody with a core duo 2g or 2.16g verify those benchmarks?
I'm curious to know since if those are true, then who needs Duende...?
(apart from the sonic diff, of course)

cheers,

The new iLok.com runs on the new Intel-Macs. No need for Rosetta anymore,
