mathewlane drms

hi peops,
I'm thinking about a tool like drms from mathewlane. I would use it as a tool to clear up the middle and sides while mixing. I'd use it to move stuff out of the middle to make room for the stuff I want there like bass and kick. this would go along freeing up the frequencies and simple panning.
I am going to demo it soon, but wanted to also hear from you all who is using it for mixing purposes and how, so I can really explore the possibilities while demoing. where are the strengths?
I dont know if I'll use it in the mastering stage. it seems many do though.
