Waves mercury

Why is Waves SSL 4000 Collection not included in waves mercury?

I have been demoing a lot of plugins lately looking for stuff to buy. So far waves is winning I really like CLA compressors and Waves Studio Classics Collection. I think it is interesting waves offering Waves API Native + V-Series Native Bundle. I wonder why they are making every buy SSL 4000 separate. What is going on here?

Most likely due to contractual stipulations with SSL as part of the branding agreement.

SSL bundle is one I've been wanting for a long time. Unfortunately it never really goes on crazy sales or anything, most likely due to their license agreement with SSL.

I record a lot of metal, so the aggressiveness of the Waves SSL is right up my alley. If you're recording anything else then Duende is a much better option

Sorry to say but it actually was on sale for the last few weeks - best price ever $399 from waves and way less from the usual online places... While you have now missed it, might be a good sign they are starting to be willing to discount it so they might do it again/better in the future.

They've featured it on sale in the past as well. But recently they've been more aggressive about their prices.
