TrooTrace TDM/RTAS audio analysis plug in

Has anyone tried this out yet? I have SpectraFooX and was promised when I bought it over a year ago that I would be eligible for an imminent free TDM plug-in version, but it's still just a stand alone product and I find it a pain to use. This looks like it might be much more convenient to use, will work as a TDM or RTAS plug in and it's a lot better value. I will try the demo but I am out of action with flu at the moment, so would welcome any opinions from users.

Who makes it? Where can I get a demo? Google isn't too enlightening on this one...

Look on the plug-ins list page at digidesign -

http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?langid=51&navid=71

There are several new ones listed in cluding this one.

Hi Tim,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been decked with the flu - hope you're feeling better soon. Please see our new web site at http://www.troodontechnologies.com/ for more info. I'd be happy to answer any questions or send a trial authorization if you're interested. The reaction of our users has been great, and we're now bundled as the on-board analyzer for the Digidesign VENUE Live Sound environment as well.

Best regards,

Joel

I've tried visiting that website but keep getting a 404 error.
I just installed a new VENUE system and was looking for a decent RTA program and a few people recommended TrooTrace but i would like to find out more about it now that I'm comparing.
My system came with VENUE Pack 3.1 and was disappointed to see that TrooTrace was not included in this version.

Hi Joel,

I have written you a 100 times about getting a demo. Never got one. Then I wrote you, about having written you and never gotten an answer, then I got an answer that I should write you another request, which I did but then AGAIN I never got any demo.

SpectraFoo is from Metric Halo and is the best analyzer you can get unless you get an oscilloscope for $20,000

Troodon is not from Metric Halo but from Troodon. Looks nice but since it was released I have never been able to come by a demo. I have given up writing troodon.

Do you realize you're talking to the year 2006?
