Mac Universal Binary Plugz

I'm a little out of touch with the Universal Binaries coming out, but I'd like to know if I've paid for my Power Mac plugz, will I have to pay AGAIN for the Intel plugz?

If so, why? Shouldn't it be a free crossgrade?

Thanks!

it depends on the developer
some developers are offering the crossgrade for free, some aren't.

URS, iZotope, WaveArts, etc. are free...
NI, PSP, and others are not.

Regarding crossgrade to Mac Intel platform.
PSP Neon (including Neon HR) and PSP MasterComp the crossgrade to the Intel Mac versions will be free. We will also offer free crossgrade options for all products purchased after 14th March 2006. In other cases we will most likely offer the crossgrade for a very small fee.
