Hi Steven,

I'm a proud owner of;
SSD Platinum, FG-X, VCC, VTM and Trigger.
#slatedigitalfanboy.

loving what your doing buddy..
I'm a big fan of using Trigger - I use it on every mix.

I'm keen on the CLA Expansion pack - having just spent a small fortune on VTM and FG-X I'd like to see some attractive pricing with this "introductory" offer!

Keep up all the good work.

Gaz

They weren't corrupted, just not fully uploaded yet and we accidentally went live with the store. However... they are done now!

I just bought FX-G, VCC and VTM and already own trigger, I agree that a special offer would be nice.

I own Trigger Platinum, SSD4 Platinum, RC Tube, VCC, FGX and VTM. There's no discount for existing customers? And I have to purchase two versions of the expansion pack (one for Trigger and one for SSD4)?

Hmm...

Slate does crazy sales on everything. I picked up VTM *and* VCC for $145 for BOTH on Black Friday.

products that usually sell for $249 or $199 EACH.

to buy anything at his launch price is pointless as it always goes on sale down the road. Just be patient.

And he might say they have no plans for a sale anytime soon, um, yes, we will see.

That said, i wouldn't buy this anyway until trigger is 64 bits, as i've been holding off on that cause it's 32 bit. And i'd want to buy the combo to get the samples for both. So....

just patience, basically

Grown up ? God I hope not, how dull.

One can learn so much on GS like the fact that some people think hat wearing has anything remotely to do with age?

At least he understands which way the cap was designed to worn

Hey guys, everyone who got this, can you let us know how different are the drumkits sounding? Demos are different indeed, but very similar, is there variety?

I would like to see a drum kit comparison on Steven Slate's website

I'm really interested on it but I have to understand some things...

How does SSD4 works?
Can I get multi-output configuration as I can get on Kontakt?
So that I can have every drum on separate channels, "triggered" by a single midi channel...

Trouble with CLA Expansion Installation

Has anyone had trouble installing this. When I bought platinum trigger, I couldn't get it to install either. Had to call them and it was a pretty long drawn out deal. I followed the instructions and downloaded the new 1.66 and don't have any slate plugins at all now. They just don't show up in pro tools 8 Mac 10.5. On old sessions the plugins are disabled. I can't add my license if I can't open the plug in pro tools. I've installed tons of plugins without any issues. Don't know if its a license code that needs to be added to my ilok. I didn't get a code that fits the ilok spaces. I don't think you need an ilok code, because I already have slate trigger platinum on it. Just wonder if anyone has a fix.

Thanks
Bud

Hi Bud, I'm sorry you are upset. Mac PPC machines have been extinct now for many years, and there is simply too much expense to justify programming for them. We are not trying to digitally rape anyone, we are trying to continue to thrive as a company so we can make great products. You certainly do not need to spend 4k on a new Mac, in fact we just bought another 2.3Ghz 8 core (used from 2011) for only 1.5k. And you definitely don't need a 25k PT HD system! If you need any more assistance, hit up support and we'll figure out something that makes you happy.

Thanks so much for the great words about the Chris Lord Alge Drums Expansion! It really is a fantastic rock drum pack, and I'm loving how they are sounding in my own mixes!

Cheers,
Steven

I've been digitally raped, I'm sure like a million others.

Bud
Your post is ridiculous, sorry. PPC processors on Mac have been dead a LONG time now. A little less drama. I had to go and buy an Intel Mac as did MANY others, YET, I didnt blame Steven for my cost

Kit sounds great BTW Steven

You're right, I should have emailed him directly. Shouldn't even do that when you're upset. There's just no way I can keep up with all of the software companies in general. I just bought trigger platinum a year ago, so I assumed an expansion to it would work.

I feel your pain bro. I ran into that wall as well. NOTHING would run on my G5 so I had to bite the bullet. I couldnt update any plugins or my DAW or my OS.
At that point of having to buy a new Mac, I decided I would limit my plugins as well and only upgrade what I was really using. Hey, at least you didnt buy a G4 and the next week the G5 came out like I did.
