Best MIDI program for PC

What do you guys consider to be the best PC program for recording MIDI to your computer? I'm looking for an easy to use program that gives a lot of different options for quantization. I currently use an outboard sequencer.

Thanks,

bcgood

powertracks is the best ive ever come across for both audio and midi for the price.
pgmusic.com for the demo.
if your a midi expert just trythe demo as i cant spend the time listing all the feature list which is massive. also i just returned from 2 days driving thru' canada so i'm zonked and need sleep lol.
also talk to other users on the forum at pg if you doubt me. there are many midi heavies there.
all the best.

Another vote for Cubase. It has some great quantization features such as swing amount, extracting the groove from audio to quantise the MIDI etc, and also 'Magnetic Quantize' where the notes are sort of bunched around the bars lines to create a lazy/forward groove.

Digital Orchestrator Pro by Voyetra, hand down. I'm dead serious.

Thanks for the reply Alpha. I actually have Nuendo 2, but I've found it rather difficult to use. I guess I need to dedicate a day or so just to learning it... I briefly checked out your myspace. I was flipping channels and saw a really cool video on BET from an artist called, "Lupe Fiasco." I love that song, "Kick Push" it reminded me of my youth skateboarding all over the place. If more rap comes out like this, suburban white boys like myself might start listening more...
