I got a story to tell -I think im gonna graduate from FL STudio and go to reason

I have been using fruity loops since 2.5 (6 years) and used it for all my sample based hip-hop needs.I actually started out on a four-track outputting my sound card to the tascam onto cassette tape cool right??from 4-track to digi 8-track to cool edit to pro tools ive laid all my beats on fruity loops but i did get a MPC1000 when they first came out and still have it to this day.I have produced 3hree full-length albums with fruity loops and produced for alot of various projects.I love fruity loops but i just been thinkin lately that i wanna move on to sumthin else even with the best vst plug-ins around. fruity doesnt have a big sound to it i honestly dont like the sound engine.even with 20+ plugins on one beat i still couldnt get the real sound that i hear on hip-hop records but the program is fun as hell and i had to get a midi controller i cant make beats with point and click WHAT PART OF THE GAME IS THAT??.I could stick to the mpc but im a computer geek and i like to make stuff fast and easy.Cats have been tellin me for years about REASON and i wasnt trippin at all cause i had fruity and the **** i made in fruity was hot cats couldnt believe what i was makin in fruity loops and i eventually put peeps on it and now i got friends that use it today.I actually tried reason before and i could not figure that **** out it was too confusing and fruity was straight to the point.9th wonder does flip it tho and he got fruity on platinum records now.im still tryin to figure out how he gets his sound but im knowin he uses cool edit to make his drums like that and dont think he uses the fruity plug-ins im sure a little eq but i could be wrong.Anyways straight to my point after years of hearin about reason i finally tried it and i like it ALOT.Im still learning it and i made a banger already and im bout to start a new one after i type this.The one thing i dont like is theres no vst support which im very used to but the mclass is off the hook tho but like i said before thats what protools is for so i can add whatever l8tr in pro tools no prob.The sounds,refills,drums,effects,low cpu,sampler,rex loop player everything is very good.So once i get the hang of it and record a couple songs with beats made in reason then im prolly gonna graduate from fruity loops and get my masters in REASON 3.I will still keep fruity and maybe use it for ol time sake but reason is where it's @ FUNNY HOW THINGS CHANGE RIGHT.If anyone here would like to tell me some tips or techniques in reason please help a brotha out and i wanna know where to get some dope refills.My style of beats is early/mid '90s hip-hop just to let yall know what im looking for.Im gonna post some stuff this week to let peeps hear and one more thing if u wanna hear my recent work in FL STUDIO 6 go to my page
