| Samplitude Question A buddy of mine has been letting me borrow his Samplitude to try for a couple months. (He mailed me his CD) I have all the intentions of buying this program. It is great for mixing, but I haven't actually recorded a project into it yet. So yesterday I am recording a guy on acoustic and I thought to myself, hey, I'll use Samplitude. All was going well until he asked for a click. My question is: How do you get a click track going with Samp 7? Can you do it without having midi hooked up. The thought of having to hook up my keyboard everytime I want to record with a click appalls me. If thats not possible, does anyone know a of good VST or DX metronome? Beez |

| The only way to get a (non midi) metronome going in the current version is to import a suitable audio file, make sure you've got snap "on" (and your desired tempo set in Project Options) and copy the audio file to every bar/beat/quarter etc. I admit this isn't an ideal solution, however I'm beta testing v 7.2 and one of the updated features is an audio metronome which includes a few standard .wav files to use and a number of parameters to play with - you can also turn metronome (audio or MIDI) on or off from the transport. Hope this helps!? MJS |

| Its a little Sanford and son, But I just use a cheap metronome with a line out. I drop that in like any other channel and record it and the band at the same time. Its cheap and cheerfull, and easy to adjust. Most electronic metronomes have a headphone out that can be used. I do the same thing with guitar tuners!

| I had this same experience. Ended up using a drum machine click and printing it. Very old fashion. :>) Looking forward to the new version. |
