Cubase LE 6 vs Cubase 6

I currently use Cubsase 5, and I've been wanting to upgrade. It nicely works out that NI is having a deal until December 31st where if you buy the Komplete Audio 6 (audio interface) you get guitar rig pro 5 for free. It's a great deal in my opinion, and it also comes with Cubase LE 6 free.
what does Cubase LE 6 lack that Cubase 6 has, and is it worth it?

Thank you in advance for any help

If you want to save $, you may want to look at Elements. It's more than enough for me, anyway.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I also think I can get a discount on Cubase through my college since I'm a student

I really like Elements but few negatives:
- no sidechaining with it! There is no support for it in Elements.
- no midi effects (like step designer or Arpeggio)
- 24 instruments limit
-mixer is not detailed with info like in the Artist and full version (no insert info!)

Still excellent buy! No physical dongle with it, just e-licenser.

If you really want to upgrade the DAW get Nuendo.

otherwise, buy your interface, install the guitar vst into your CB5 and stick the unopened CB6 LE disk in a drawer somewhere.

Nuendo plus the NEK kit to give him all the music stuff Cubase has already for $2100. Total WASTE of money for a musician. Film guy sure. Music guys dont need all the extra POST stuff it has in it. Bad recommendation IMO

Wait a couple of weeks and grab Cubase 7

Shame, not long ago Cubase Artist 6.5 was $99, I believe this was for LE owners. I bought Komplete Audio and have Cubase LE5 I believe for a while, so when this offer came along I got it.

I was interested in Retrologue and Padshop as well, which was already $100 yet this offer included these two synths!

A steal really, I see now Artist is $250!
