how to run guitar rig 5 in stereo

I'm running my guitar through my pedals and stereo out/in to my audio interface into Ableton live.

I have the guitar track use the stereo Ins. I have guitar rig 5 as a vst for that track and I'm using an amp sim in GR5 but when I use my stereo delay - in my pedal chain, the delay doesn't come out stereo, how do I enable the amp sim to be in stereo ?

I clicked the R/L inputs in the top of the GR5 interface window but that didn't help.

not sure how ableton works, but in Cubendo, if I am using it as an insert I have to make sure I am using it in a stereo audio track, even if the stereo audio track has a mono source.

well I know the track is in stereo cause when I disable the GR5 VST - my stereo delay pedal is panned left and right.

You have to switch every piece of gear in GR5 to stereo. Every amp, speaker etc - in every preset has to be switched to stereo. In most amps the switch is hidden under the 'arrow down' button.

You have to load it in mono..then go to preferences in GR and click the stereo box. Then close the plugin and re open it on a stereo channel. It will default to stereo. Repeat the process backwards to get it back to mono. Bit long winded, as they try and brand GR as a host for non guitar eqs/compresses and reverbs, they should include both Mono and Stereo versions.

yeah I saw the "Stereo" switch before on the amp but didn't see the one on the cab - its in the sub menu as you said.
