All GUI's are different, so the settings are different... so they'll sound different.

another mix compressor

and old post but i have try another compression on the mix.

what do you think?

-no comp file

and

-comp X file

hint: it's a hardware compressor

2 to 4 DB gain reduction

It was interesting that the RTAS version of the Waves SSL comp sounded better than the TDM version. That was a surprise.

The uncompressed sounded better to me on my more expensive monitors (asp-8s), but most of the compressed versions sounded better over my "grot-boxes" (auratones and boombox).

hey Justin, I was thinking the exact same thing, like I listened to them blind, and definitely thought those two are pretty similar, but I have to say that the RTAS version sounds better than the TDM version to my ears as well!!

BTW, I like #6, I think I am just used to the URS plug though, I love the classic version.
